NAACP nominee Omar Wilson is crooning, and glowing in his latest single and video for “The One.”
Written and produced by Wilson, Louis Humphrey, Jasmon Joyner and Edwin Ramos, “The One” is currently receiving national airplay via Sirius XM and Music Choice while the video has been added to Revolt, MUCH Music (Canada) and BET Soul. It provides a consistent R&B mood and message, but with a stepping groove twist. Wilson describes it as a “sultry and sensual song with a nostalgic feeling of Marvin Gaye.” It also “embodies various dance elements such as salsa and two-step”
Directed by Lamont Liquid, the video follows Wilson, and one more, showing his love for her through various moments. “The visuals for were inspired by a man’s undying love for his woman. It completes him in every way and this video embodies the fact that she is “The One” for him,” he adds.
Wilson’s debut album Living Legend” was released earlier this year, and he is currently on a national promotional tour and cities include; Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York, Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Dallas and Houston.
