Powerhouse songstress Tamar Braxton has officially released her highly anticipated new project, “Heartbreak Retrograde,” a cathartic six-song EP produced by GRAMMY®-winning hitmaker Tricky Stewart, which takes listeners on a soulful walk through love’s messiness, its magic, and everything in between.
Every track on Heartbreak Retrograde hits with intention, from the radio favorite “You On You,” to the late-night seduction of “4AM,” and the emotional heartbeat of it all, “Love Me,” which has Braxton doing what she does best: pouring real feeling into every note, letting her storytelling and powerhouse vocals do all the talking.
The project follows Braxton’s April release of “You On You,” a bold anthem of self-empowerment that quickly resonated with fans and climbed R&B radio charts. At the time of its debut, Braxton shared, “My new single is about embracing the strength it takes to use your voice in any relationship that isn’t serving your best interest. I am thrilled to have teamed up with my label partner, Platform Sounds, again. I pray I make all my Tamartians proud!”
