#NewMusic, Tamika Scott Makes Heartbreak Look Good in “Go Outside In The Rain” Video

Tamika Scott always held her own in the group Xscape, just like the other ladies, but it’s now time to get some more solo shine. After releasing “Almost Over” & “What Was I Thinking,” Scott releases a video for her latest single “Go Outside In The Rain.”

From multiple cameos, to donning multiple, classic dresses while dealing with pain, Scott tries to mask her pain. A feeling that many know all too well. “Go Outside in the Rain” is a song for heartbreak, but not the typical heartbreak song of what oe person may have done. It’s about the pain, but also the process of dealing with the relationship heartbreak.

“No one who is here to take care of me, Nobody/ Why must I feel so lonely without you here, Oh, I wish it was only a dream/ And when I think of all the times we shared, I can’t make the tears stop rolling down my face/ That’s why I want to go outside in the rain, so no one, no one, no one, no one can see me cry…

Check out the video below. Scott’s upcoming EP, Family Affair, will be available digitally December 13.
