#NewMusic: MARIAH. and Raheem DeVaughn Turn Up the Heat with ‘Hold On Me’ (Act 2)

After the steamy success of their first collaboration, MARIAH. and Grammy-winning soul singer Raheem DeVaughn are back and they’re turning up the emotional intensity. Their latest single, “Hold On Me” (Act 2), arrives this Friday, May 16, giving fans a fresh and intimate look at the love story they began in the original version.

The first release, “Hold On Me” (Act 1), has already made serious waves, amassing over 4.5 million streams across platforms and building buzz around this powerful musical pairing. Now, Act 2 delivers a deeper, more cinematic take, showing us how that all-consuming kind of love starts.

The track was co-written by MARIAH. and Raheem DeVaughn, and produced by Eddie Spencer and Brekiscus-Hollywood Jackson for Quest Productions. Together, they bring a blend of sultry vocals, rich production, and storytelling that’s both vulnerable and irresistible.

“Hold On Me encompasses the story of the power of love. Love has a magnetic and electrifying energy- consuming those in its grasp,” MARIAH. said. “Before a love becomes all consuming, a story behind that love manifests. Hold On Me: Act 2 takes the listener on a journey of this love affair’s beginning. The story unfolds right before your eyes; leaving the listener to realize that love has levels,.”

To celebrate the release, MARIAH. is hitting the road again for the second leg of her “Hold On Me” promo tour, with stops in Atlanta, Charlotte, New Orleans, Dallas, Houston, and Los Angeles, just to name a few. She’s also available for in-person interviews and appearances while in each city.
