After successfully releasing the War of Hearts and Tin Man: The Blue albums, Russell Taylor has been able to capture the attention and hearts of music lovers. Taylor has sold out shows at the Apollo and Blues Alley, gaining exposure through VH1’s You Oughta Know Artists, and more. He’s coming back with his new single “Come Morning.”
“Come Morning” is Russell Taylor’s steamy return to the music scene since releasing his critically-acclaimed Tin Man: The Blue trilogy series in 2017. The sensual and up-tempo song was written by Taylor, A. Cinelu and C. Richardson. It was co-produced by longtime producer T. Kvasnosky and Taylor.
“One part heartbeat groove pulsed with that sweet 2 & 4 snap–add another part of lush harmony and you get a sexy, sensual anthem of the Quarantine and Chill era of 2020,” states Taylor. “We all miss that human connection, so Come Morning does the asking of your sexy DM crush for us…”what’s good”, if only for one night, tonight?,” he adds with a chuckle.
Growing up amidst the rich musical legacy of Philadelphia, Taylor absorbed the sounds and style of the artists that came before him
as well as his contemporaries. From Gamble and Huff to Jill Scott, Taylor has been inspired by the authentic musicianship of fellow
Philly artists.
