#NewMusic, Amara La Negra – Insecure

Amara La Negra has finally released her single that she’s been previewing, “Insecure.” The single is her first predominately released English single thus far, which gives off R&B vibe mixed with Latin music. “Insecure” follows the release of Amara’s previous single “What A Bam Bam,” which was released on TIDAL.

Amara recently covered Latina Magazine, where she talked about her life growing up, issues of colorist, and more within the hispanic community.

“I think people are confused by why I rock my hair the way I do. But it isn’t about hair. It’s about the moral of the story, you know? Hair is nothing, I could go bald tomorrow. I’m still gonna be Amara La Negra. It’s more about feeling comfortable in your own skin, with your body, your hair,”
