As previously reported, we have gotten a mixtape before the album. K. Michelle has gifted fans with new music to start the new year off. She just released her latest mixtape, Not 1 Fuck Given (Never Have, Never Will…), and has announced the official release date for All Monsters Are Human.
The 15 track mixtape features songs we’ve heard on her Instagram lives, and a few new ones. While some are fun, there are still some very personal like “Heaven I Need A Hug,” where she’s talking about past abortions and not being able to have kids. When sharing the news on her Instagram, Michelle shared the following message.
“Where do I begin?,” she started. “Well first I just want to say thank you for loving on me. The last two years have been a real journey and growing experience for me. I literally was fighting for my life. I know I’ve had you guys waiting for my album so I wanted to give you something to vibe to until then. You know for years now we’ve had fun together remixing my favorite songs… While you wait I’ll be putting up a preorder link next week and you can jam to these songs I did with some pretty awesome people. While sharing news of the mixtape, which Michelle said it will be deleted soon, she also announced the album. “Im happy to FINALLY announce my new album “All Monsters Are Human” is dropping JAN 31. It’s honestly a masterpiece.”
