Usher Taps Ella Mai for New Single “Don’t Waste My Time”

Usher is finally back on the music scene, and teaming up with a newcomer. He enlists Ella Mai on his latest single “Don’t Waste My Time.”

Giving us new Usher that’s reminiscent of old Usher; he may have another R&B hit on his hands. After teasing that a follow up to his diamond album Confessions is coming, we hear Jermaine Dupri in the beginning of the track. Usher and Mai complement each other’s tone well, give and take , and special elements.

“You got a motive and I think I like it, I know all your insecurities/ I hope that you’re open, my body gives notice/ And I want your energy, girl, gimme that (Girl, gimme that)/ Good lovin’, no questions, Reach out and you’ll touch me/ Bad habits, don’t judge me, Just don’t waste my time”
