Nicki Minaj Takes More Shots, “Papoose Wrote The Ether Record, But I Broke Aretha Record”

2 Chainz previewed a new track that may re-ignite the rap battle between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj. The song is titled “Realize,” and was debuted during his “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music”  listening party.

In the song, you can hear Minaj call out Remy’s husband Papoose, accusing him of writing the “shEther” diss track towards Minaj.

“Papoose wrote the ‘ETHER’ record, but I broke Aretha record,” Minaj raps. The line refers to Minaj’s recent Hot 100 record, in which she surpassed Aretha Franklin for the most hits by a female artist.

Although Minaj surpassed Franklin’s record, she’s still winning. Franklin just got a street named after her across from the Detroit Radio Music Hall.
