Toni Braxton isn’t letting a pandemic stop the music. Following the remix of her single “Do It” with Missy Elliott, “Dance” is another uptempo track. One that can resemble Braxton’s previous chart topping dance single, “I Heart You.“
“Dance,” along with both versions of “Do It” will be available on Braxton’s upcoming album, Spell My Name. The 10 track album will be released in August, and shows that singer Her will be featured on a track called “Gotta Move On.” “Dance” has Braxton singing about the end of a relationship, and just wanting to “dance the love away.”
“I found out just the other day, That you were giving it away/ I found out just the other day, I ain’t trynna make you stay/ You told me that you’d never hurt me, Made me believe I was your only/ I don’t give a damn, I just wanna dance the love away/ I don’t really care, I just wanna dance the love away”
