#NewVideo: T-Pain & Kehlani Takes Viewers to the Old West with His Self-Sampled ‘I Like Dat’

Picture it: It’s 2006 and T-Pain’s “Buy U A Drank (Shawty Snappin’)” single is on the radio, and the dance is done at every party. Now, Pain has sampled his number one single in 2021, and this time he taps Kehlani for his new single “I Like Dat.”

Another uptempo bop, Pain lifts up women who require more and can hold their own. Kehlani adds to the single, flaunting herself. It’s a shift from “Buy U A Drank.” Directed by Christian Breslauer, the video takes us through a modern word wild west, from the old-style saloon with Pain selling some infamous drank.

“She don’t want drinks no more if you ain’t bringin’ no dough to thе table, Ooh, ooh, you know that your bank account big, come back on a weekend, you ain’t able/ Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh, she gon’ be like, “I got it,” pull a thousand dollars out her side pocket/ Ooh that lil’ bit of drank you tried to buy, stop it, Bottles on me, the cork look like a skyrocket, pop it”
