Rising artist Prez Harris just released his latest single “one and only,” and discusses some of his journey to take him to this moment. From opening for artists like B.o.B. and Jay Electronica, attending Northwestern University to study computer engineering and music technology, and even basketball aspirations, Harris has taken many things from life to propel him forward.
Hailing from Chicago, Harris has been putting in work for years and is currently readying for the release of his forthcoming single “Wrong Side,” and project Hourglass. In our interview, Harris said college actually helped and prepared him for getting deeper in the music industry, showing him how to “think, process, and be analytical.”
When it comes to his upcoming project Hourglass, Harris said: “Everything is going to happen at the right time and on your own journey, and that’s really what the project is about. All about time, patience, balance, running your race and being in your journey. I think the big thing I want people to take away from that is you’re good enough. You have your own path.”
