#NewMusic: Groove Junkies, Reelsoul, and Tertulien Thomas Continue Joining Forces with ‘Happiness Just Around the Bend’

“Happiness Just Around the Bend” is more than a song title. It’s a curated vibe and moment between Groove Junkies, Reelsoul, and Tertulien Thomas that can shift moods.

Their single, “Happiness Just Around the Bend,” is a modern interpretation of the iconic 1974 hit by The Main Ingredient.

The Disco, Soul and Funk infusion single builds on the trio’s previous global success that includes interpretations from David Joseph’s “You Can’t Hide,” Keni Burke’s “Risin’ To The Top,” and Ashford & Simpson’s “It Seems To Hang On.”

Thomas brings a unique vocal blend of gospel, 70’s soul, and R&B to the table, rooted in classical training. Thomas’ voice with the production transcends listeners to a different timezone and headspace with its honor to the original, while still being current.

Thomas has become a standout figure in the global House music community and “Happiness Just Around the Bend” will continue to allow Thomas to grow on that journey. The single has hit the top 10 on Traxsource.

His debut release on MoreHouse Records, an interpretation of David Joseph’s “You Can’t Hide,” skyrocketed to #1 on Traxsource’s Top 100 Singles chart within days, securing the #35 spot on Traxsource’s Top 200 Soulful House Records of 2020.
