Frank Ocean used Saturday’s episode of his Beats 1 show “blonded RADIO” to premiere two versions of his latest song, “Lens.” One solo version, and the other featuring Travis Scott.
After staying largely out of the public eye leading up to his pair of 2016 albums, all the recent new music releases keeps fans wondering what does Ocean have up his sleeve, Scott couldn’t contain his excitement as he tweeted about the song as it was happening.
Frank sings:
“Despite our history/ Somewhere in your nights you’re stuck when you think of me/ Despite the life I lead/ All this life in me/ Spirits watch me, pants down/ Can’t be ‘barrassed of it/ I feel their smiles on me (smiles on me)/ I feel their smiles on me (smile on me)/ I feel their smiles on me (lens on me right now)/ Oh yeah, oh yeah”
For the entire show, listeners got 17 songs (including “Lens”) for a total playlist that ran for one hour and three minutes. The entire playlist, which you can listen to here (Lens isn’t included), can be seen below. However, “Lens” is available on Apple Music below.
