IT’S HERE!!!! The long awaited song with the Rihanna vocals is in. DJ Khaled premiered his latest song, and video, for “Wild Thoughts,” which features Rihanna and Bryson Tiller.
Khaled aint have to do this to us! The song is fire!! Once you hear it, you’ll hear the sample from one extremely popular song. Santana’s “Maria Maria (Feat. The Product G&B)” is a classic, but Khaled, along with co-producers, the Nasty Beatmakers, brought the beat out, and made it louder and heavier. A good move for a song when including a sample; to make it your own.
“Wild Thoughts” credits PARTYNEXTDOOR with a writing credit. Prior to the track and video debut, Khaled thanked everyone who worked on the record.
“Grateful” will drop next Friday, June 23, and will also include appearances by Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, Migos, Kodak Black, and Future. Khaled’s infant son Asahd is also listed as the project’s executive producer.
“[Asahd] is credited as executive producer, and his attorney has his points or royalties, everything,” the hip hop mogul said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! “He’s in the studio listening to songs with me, going over the business part of it, if the vocals are right, if the beats are right, if the energy’s right. Everything…he’s a part of!”
