Michelle Williams Releases New Single, “Fearless,” After Announcing Split From Chad Johnson

After announcing her split from former fiancé Chad Johnson, Michelle Williams released her new single, “Fearless.” Williams, although probably sad, seems to be in good spirits releasing her new single. “Fearless” is her mood, and the public is unsure of what is happening with the show Chad Loves Michelle, Williams is in a space where it appears she is coming into herself.

“‘Cause I’m fearless, oh/ ‘Cause I’m fearless, oh/ ‘Cause I’m fearless (Hopeless I can’t go)/ ‘Cause I’m fearless, oh
Dreams show us each chapter read/ The dreams show us you’re meant to paddle/ It’s yours, reach out and grab it/ The dream’s yours, you’re meant to have it…”

Earlier this year, Williams checked herself into a hospital to help deal with her depression, which she first publicly announced in 2017. “For years, I’m in one of the top-selling female groups of all time suffering with depression,” she said. Williams said she didn’t understand what she was going through until she was in her thirties. “It got really really bad…to the point of I was suicidal,” she said. “I was to that place where it got so dark and heavy because sometimes you feel like ‘I’m the provider, I take care of people, I’m not supposed to be feeling this way—what do I do?’ I wanted out.”
