Lifted from his sophomore album, “The Art of Making Love,” J. Brown made his national TV debut on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” performing his single “My Whole Heart.”
Written by Carvin Haggins, Julian (Blake Winters) Ray, Naydera Pollard, Carmen LaRen and Maurice Harley, while produced by Haggins and Giancarlo “EVO” Evola, Brown said he wanted to create a song that he felt was missing his music in R&B and show appreciation to women.
“My Whole Heart” has risen and marks J. Brown’s first #1 on the Top 10 Billboard R&B Chart. It has been the top R&B Billboard song for three consecutive weeks and took 14 weeks to do so making it a feat for the independent artist.
J. Brown’s sophomore album, “The Art of Making Love,” shows growth in his musicality. It debuted at #3 on the iTunes R&B Album charts.
