2 Icons, JoJo Hailey Releases “Special” Remix Featuring Snoop Dogg

We know JoJo has hits under his belt, from Jodeci & K-Ci and JoJo, but he’s now embarking on his solo artist journey, and tapping some legends along the way. JoJo tapped Snoop Dogg for the official remix to his song “Special.”

The track does what JoJo does best; it spreads a message of love through tribute to the special woman in his life, his wife, Tashaunda Hailey. In the remix, the refreshing blend of Pop and R&B delivers JoJo’s signature sound which pairs seamlessly with the smooth lyrical styles of Snoop. To know R&B is to know JoJo, and he still has his signature voice. And of course, he’s never been shy to show love, showing us how important it is to let your lover know that when it’s true love, they can truly trust you.

The success JoJo experienced from the original release of “Special” on Valentine’s Day was tremendous. Landing a Billboard premiere, and is only the begging of his 2020 rollout. JoJo plans to release a string of singles leading up to his first solo debut album in 2020.

At a time when the world needs it the most, we can rely on JoJo and Snoop to stay devoted with a remix that keeps you dancing from beginning to end. Snoop continues to ride any beat effortlessly, and a love song doesn’t change things, especially with his own Wife as inspiration.

The comeback is exciting and invigorating for JoJo, especially given his various health issues.
