The four-day festival continues its long-standing tradition of being in New Orleans, from July 4-7 this year. ESSENCE Festival promises to be a truly unforgettable experience.
At the heart of the festival will be the evening concert series at the Caesar’s Superdome, which will be rooted in legacy and evolution. Some performers will grace the Essence Festival stage for the first time.
Usher, Janet Jackson, Victoria Monét, and Birdman & Friends are set to headline, Charlie Wilson, Busta Rhymes, Tank and The Bangas, TGT (Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank), SWV, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Arya Starr and Jacquees will also grace the 2024 ESSENCE Festival stage.
The four-day festival will culminate with the return of the beloved all-white party and a special tribute to the legendary Frankie Beverly & Maze, curated by the Grammy-Award-winning producer and songwriter Bryan-Michael Cox.
The festival’s expansion beyond its origins as a music event is equally exciting. Attendees can look forward to the return of beloved daytime experiences, such as the ESSENCE Food & Wine Festival™, BEAUTYCON™: ESSENCEFEST Edition, AFROPUNK BLKTOPIA™, and the ESSENCE Film Festival® by ESSENCE STUDIOS™.
These immersive experiences will celebrate the multifaceted nature of Black culture and provide attendees with a truly comprehensive festival experience.
