TLC just released their 2nd single off their upcoming and final album called “Haters.” Although they haven’t confirmed the title of the album, the current title with Apple Music is simply “TLC.”
Their first single, “Way Back” featuring Snoop Dogg, was very 90’s TLC, with the strong R&B vibe. But “Haters” is a song to address their haters, more of a pop song, reminiscent of “No Scrubs.” Although TLC just officially released the song, it has been circling around the internet since 2016.
[Verse 1]: Either your butt’s too big/ Or your hair’s too long/ Or your eyes too wide/ Or your head’s too strong/ Either you got too much/ Or you got too less/ Either you’re under woman/ Or you’re over dressed (ha!)
[Bridge]: All those opinion’s gonna make you fake/ Go on and brush it off it’s just dead weight/ Only thing that matters/ That you need to know/ You’ll only find it in your heart and soul
The new album, which was funded by a Kickstarter campaign, features 12 tracks, with titles like “Perfect Girls,” “American Gold,” and “Aye Muthafucka.” Other than Snoop, no other guests are listed on the current tracklisting. T-Boz & Chilli will kick off “I Love the ’90s – The Party Continues Tour” following the release of their new album in July with Sugar Ray, Naughty By Nature, C+C Music Factory, and more.
