The Weeknd has been working hard to establish himself in the music world, from having a number one album and singles, to working with Beyonce. What better way to establish oneself than by setting records at an early stage in ones career?

The Weeknd’s second album “Beauty Behind the Madness” earned him the number one position on the Billboard Charts when it was released. It was released on August 28th, 2015, and became the “Most Streamed Album on Spotify in a year.” The timeline for the record was from December, 1st, 2014 – December 1st, 2015. During the time when the album was released until the end of the time frame; the album was streamed 60 Million Times. The second record he set is spending the most consecutive weeks in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Hot 100 as a solo male artist between March 7, 2015 and January 9, 2016. He spent a total of 45 weeks within the top 10.

Although The Weeknd didn’t set a record for streaming a single, his song “Can’t Feel My Face” accumulated 448,334,867 streams, which isn’t easy to do.
