Pier Six Pavilion is set to host a new waterfront concert series called Soul on the Water, described as “celebrating the timeless influence of soul, jazz, R&B and culture.”
The Finn Group partnership will bring live performances across summer and fall, featuring artists such as Raheem DeVaughn, Chanté Moore, Tank and the Bangas and more.
The series was announced during Black Music Month and follows the 25-year legacy of Jazzy Summer Nights, which drew more than 100,000 guests.
LaRian Finney, managing partner of The Finn Group, said Soul on the Water “was created to celebrate the music, culture and community that have always been part of Baltimore’s story.”
She added, “Following the incredible journey of Jazzy Summer Nights, we saw an opportunity to create something new that honors that legacy while introducing a fresh waterfront experience. Soul on the Water brings together legendary artists, emerging voices and music lovers in a setting that reflects the spirit, creativity and energy of our city.”
