She’s Back: Beyoncé Releases New Single ‘Break My Soul’

After a hiatus, the queen has returned with new music and a new sound. Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” is the first single from her forthcoming album ‘Renaissance.’ Serving House music realness, Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” is a song about persevering, pushing through and letting go.

Beyoncé’s Renaissance era will be in multiple acts with Act. 1 dropping July 29. 

In Harper’s Bazaar last year, Beyoncé gave some insight into her pending album.

“With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again,” Beyoncé said. “I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible. I’ve been in the studio for a year and a half.”
