Tinashe said she isn’t playing this time around for her second album, “Joyride.” With her long awaited sophomore album is due April 13th, after being shelved for almost two years. Tinashe has been in music limbo, but she’s giving it her all. She just revealed her tracklist.
“Me So Bad” features Ty Dolla $ign & French Montana. It’s a bop, a vibe, and the video accompanies the song well, however; the singles she has released so far are definitely different from her debut album “Aquarius.” All the songs are more pop/R&B based than her mixtapes and “Aquarius.”
[Verse 1: Tinashe]
“I know you want my free time/ I know that we don’t play, play, play, play/ I’m walking on a thin line/ I’m hoping that it break, break, break, break, break/ I’m tryna give you FaceTime (yeah)/ Don’t mean you wanna wait, wait, wait, wait, wait/ I want a better bassline, I want a better bassline”[Pre-Chorus: Tinashe]:
“Don’t be faking, faking, no, yeah/ Say you looking for someone that’ll last/ I know you looking for someone that’ll last”
With Tinashe’s second album 2 weeks away, only time will tell how the full project comes about. Watch the video for “Me So Bad” below.
