Tiera Kennedy is one of the newer artists on the rise in Country music. A singer, songwriter and radio show host, Kennedy has recently released her single “I Ain’t A Cowirl,” which has a message of strength and overcoming.
In a social media post, Kennedy shares her joy over the song and what inspired “I Ain’t A Cowgirl.”
“I feel like I’ve been through hell and back over the past two and half years but I’m so much stronger for it,” Kennedy shared. “I hope you see yourself in this song (that goes for the cowboys too). I hope it reminds you of your worth and that you’re strong enough to get through anything.”
“I’ve been pushed round, I’ve been knocked down / I’ve been too afraid to stand up for myself, I’ve been put through hell / I ain’t a cowgirl, I ain’t never been / Oh, but I’ve got my boots on, bout time I break em in”
