R&B icon Monica has finally graced the NPR Tiny Desk stage with a stripped-downed version of classics, and a preview of a new song with Ty Dolla $ign.
Surrounded by candles, outside, with a small backing band, dressed in all pink, Monica provided strong but light vocals, showcasing a different side and range to her that’s always been there.
Monica performed “Angel of Mine,” “Love All Over Me,” “Why I Love You So Much,” “So Gone,” “Before You Walk Out of My Life” and debuted a new single “Friends.”
