HaZel, aka Monique Samuels, has finally released the video for her single “Drag Queens.” The single was released in August this year, around the time that her infamous altercation with Real Housewives of Potomac’s Candiace Dillard Bassett aired.
Samuels always wanted to do music, and was in a rap group growing up. On a live with Riley Knoxx on YouTube, Samuels said she has songs playing overseas from her previous years as a rapper.
“I was born ready but I’m never done, Try on ten looks just to find right one/ Melanin pop bright like the sun, Sun kissed and you wish to compare hun/ Be careful what you wish don’t you dare hun, Tried to warn you see the message wasn’t clear hun/ I am a woman of my word cuz I’m fair hun, Give you what you ask for cuz I care hun/ Now you feel me now you see me, Exaggerate the eyes feelin really pretty”
She also said she might possibly do an EP, and she has other businesses and ventures coming, but being a mother is first. Samuels may have time to do an EP as she just announced on IG Live that she won’t return to the next season of RHOP.
