R&B sensation Mario has returned with new music off his upcoming EP with his song, “Let Me Help You.”
“Let Me Help You” is the lead single off Mario’s upcoming EP, his first release since 2009’s D.N.A., slated for spring. It follows the post-apocalyptic video for “I Need More,” which dropped in September.
“Girl, let me help you,” he sings over the island-inspired beat. “I know you can do it on your own, but let me help you / Give me a try, girl, you never know / Let me help you.”
“Right now I feel like R&B needs to feel cool and fun again. A simple conversation, catchy melody and a story that draws my listeners in is what I feel like ‘Let Me Help You’ does,” Mario told The FADER. “There is enough music about egotistical perceptions and not enough about love, especially in urban music. Love is still cool to me!”
