With the success of his 2020 debut album Painted and his 2021 EP Table for Two, followed by more success with his recent Musiq Soulchild sampled “Over,” Lucky Daye is ready to hit the road and deliver more music.
The slow-groove, bass-heavy new single “Candy Drip,” which the upcoming tour is named after, was co-written and co-produced by award-winning D’ Mile. His forthcoming album, which will have the same name, will be delivered at the beginning of 2022.
“Better like wine in the nighttime, a perfect design/ And where you go, I wanna go down deeper into your shine/ Oh, I, can we hope high? We running out of time/ You better speak now, speak now”
To go along with the single and album, Daye has also announced him upcoming “Candy Drip” tour. Daye will bring along R&B artist Joyce Wright. The 26-city tour will begin in Portland and will end in New York City in April. Early access to tickets can be found using the keyword “CandyDrip.”
