#NewMusic, Lil’ Kim – Took Us A Break

The queen is back!

Lil’ Kim has just released her latest single, “Took Us A Break,” as a leading single before her next album. Kim’s official first single for the album will drop the beginning of next year, with the album to follow shortly afterwards. The video for “Took Us A Break” has already been shot, but no word on when Kim will be dropping it.

Kim is back with what feels like a faster delivery, and somewhat harder flow in this single, while consistently riding the beat.

“I was raised in the school of hard knocks,” she raps. “These bitches is class clowns / Giving y’all my old clothes, my old flows like hand-me-downs / I see y’all watching my Snap / Trying to see what else you could jack.”

Check out “Took Us A Break” here.
