#NewMusic, N.E.R.D. – Lemon (Feat. Rihanna)

N.E.R.D., the group composed of Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo, and Shay Hayley, have released a new single titled “Lemon” featuring Rihanna. The new track is the group’s first release since their fourth studio album, “Nothing,” came out in 2010. In 2015, Pharrell gave fans a sign of hope when he revealed that he and the group were working on new material. Last weekend, posters bearing the group’s name were scattered in various places, most notably at the Camp Flog Gnaw carnival. The group will be performing this weekend at ComplexCon.

The video opens with Rihanna shaving dancer Mette Towley head, whom she is the focus of in the video, as she dances in an indoor flea market.

Verse 1: Pharrell Williams]
Hate! Bad bitches wanna be my bae
Hate! Hunt me down like the C.I.A
Hate! Side of my car, tryna see my face
Hate! Want me to beat it like the T.I. case
Oh (hate!) and if it’s heated I’ma feed my face
Hate! And best believe, it’s gon’ be outrageous
Hate! Hatin’ niggas can’t believe my race
Hate! Niggas hit you with the Eli face, oh
