Frank Ocean released his new single “DHL” on a new episode of BLONDED Radio.
While Ocean is a mostly private person , “DHL” let us into some of his inside personality traits. He showed us cockiness, confidence, fun, sexuality, sex, ratchetness, and more. All of which he has showed through various musical moments of his career, but putting them all together on one single track caught people’s attention.
“Niggas think it’s new, it ain’t new, boy/ Old files just turned two, yeah, flu, yeah/ Still sound like it’s comin’ soon, comin’ soon, yeah/ Still sound like it’s comin’ soon, tell the truth, yeah/ Boy-toy suck me like a Hoover, like a Hoover/ Boy-toy ride me like a Uber, like the Uber/ Smiley face, factory casing, ain’t bust it down, yeah/ I laugh and I forgave it, violations, ain’t seen ’em around, yeah/ Could test it, wavy pool, sit behind the pool, I’m tellin’ the truth, bro/ Remind me of trade, brushin’ his waves, Shit look like ramen noodles”
Via. Genius
It’s speculations that “DHL” is the first of thirteen singles Ocean plans to release, due to the fact that the single cover matches one of the silhouettes at the bottom on the art.
