Acclaimed singer-songwriter Eric Roberson continues to leave an indelible mark on the independent R&B and soul scene with the release of his latest single, “Where You Gonna Go,” with BJ The Chicago Kid.
The track is a stirring reflection on resilience and inner strength, written by Roberson alongside Bryan James Sledge and Rodney Jones, and produced by Roberson and Jones for Art of Artez Productions.
“‘Where You Gonna Go’ is a song that explores simple extremes,” says Roberson. “It’s inspired by a question I ask myself to help the sunshine, even when facing storms.”
The track draws from Roberson’s signature blend of soul and R&B with an undercurrent of hip-hop—a nod to his musical foundation. “It’s R&B and soul music, but I’m a hip-hop dude,” he explains, highlighting the fusion that gives his sound a distinct edge.
The song’s music video, directed by Steven Jon, recently made its world premiere on BETSOUL and BET.com
With sold-out tours across the globe and an ever-growing discography, Eric Roberson continues to inspire listeners through his powerful storytelling and unwavering commitment to his craft.
