The word is “Entanglement” became viral from Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith addressing a recent August Alsina interview. The word took on a life of its own, and Alsina had to take his turn at it.
Making obvious nods to both Jada and Will on the song, Alsina appears to be taking the phrase, and criticism well enough to make a song. Art is expression, and it’s clear Alsina and Rick Ross are expressing themselves.
“The definition of entanglement, It’s when you tangled in the sheets/ Know we don’t comment on relationship, But you still fuckin’ with me, yeah/ Entanglements, it’s when you tangle in the sheets/ Entanglements, it’s when you’re tangled up with me/ Entanglements, it’s when you’re gettin’ in too deep/ Tangled up with me, tangled in the sheets”
