#NewMusic: Ashanti Returns with a Message in ‘Falling For You’

Following her 2021 return to music, Ashanti is back with a message of wanting more for yourself and having self-worth in her song “Falling For You.” The latest single follows the 2021 release by Ashanti, “2:35 (I Want You).

“No more falling for your games, I know you ain’t gon’ change, I ain’t tryna let my guard down/ You gotta know I’m still in pain, And it’s driving me insane, I can’t have you how I want”

Directed by Jet Phynx, we see what appears to be a happy relationship play out to its ending with Ashanti visiting a tarot reader. Ashanti appears to get the answers she seeks, and the relationship burns to the end.
