On Valentine’s Day, entertainer Mýa dropped a video for a song called “The Truth.” A previously released song that most likely details her current thoughts, given the fact she just got married for the first time.
“The Truth” was definitely a foreshadowing moment, seeing as it was released in 2015 on her Love Elevation Suite EP. Co-written by her and Lucky Daye, “The Truth” is a song that describes a beautiful and loving relationship. The video adds to the concept, potentially showing Mýa getting ready for her wedding.
Baby you the truth, All I really need now/ I don’t want nobody but you, Baby you’re something else/ And you know it’s true, And don’t try to hide it/ You know it’s true
