Monica Is Locked Up In “Commitment” Video

In her video directed by Teyana Taylor, all Monica wanted was “good sex and commitment,” and she ended up in jail.

Released earlier in January of this year, Monica has now released the video during the second season of T.I. & Tiny’s Friends & Family Hustle. Monica (also known as Goonica) starts off the video by shooting someone, perceivably her man that couldn’t give her what she needed.

“I just need someone to love me, when it’s hard to / I can trust with, all my issues/ Someone who is patient, and consistent / I need good sex, and commitment.”

Monica’s last album, Code Red, was released in 2015, but she will be releasing an album later this year. This will be Monica’s first independent album, as she’s been signed to RCA records since her beginning.
