Mariah. Returns with #NewMusic, Tapping Raheem DeVaughn for ‘Hold On Me’

After taking a small hiatus, Mariah. returns with “Hold on Me” and taps R&B veteran Raheem DeVaughn for her new song, creating its own unique vibe as we head into cuffing season.

Written by Mariah. and Raheem DeVaughn and produced by Eddie Spencer and Brekiscus-Hollywood Jackson for Quest Productions, “Hold On Me” serves as a sultry anthem that is carried by the vocal harmonies between both artists, creating musical tension reminiscent of an intimate conversation between a couple.

“This beautiful song serves as an anthem about love and perspective,” Mariah. said. “Love can have powerful effects on the mind, heart, and body; creating an inescapable embrace. The person becomes like an energy pack: charging and elevating his/her intended.”

“Hold On Me” is released through Mariah.’s new label partnership with Origins | Hitmakers Music Group and her own label, Breaking Dawne Entertainment.

Mariah. uses her creativity and love of music for charity. She is an active partner with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in support of their “Love Music Stop Cancer” campaign to help raise awareness and funds to save lives via the initiative #MusicGives.

Devaughn was recently named as the new host for WHUR’s “The Quiet Storm.”
