The annual Black Music Honors celebration will take place for its 9th year, with the 2024 honorees being Johnny Gill, Patrice Rushen, Bootsy Collins and Hezekiah Walker.
LeToya Luckett and DeRay Davis will continue their roles as hosts for the Black Music Honors.

We are extremely proud to bring more visibility to these tremendous icons who have stayed the course from humble beginnings to careers that span decades. Their lives and stories are part of the beautiful tapestry of black music…which has impacted the globe.”
