Meek Mill just released his latest albums, Championships, and its being well received. Not only for his own rhymes, but his features and samples.
Featuring Cardi B, Ella Mai, Drake, Fabulous, and more, one feature in particular is gaining a lot of attention. Meek’s song “What’s Free” features both Rick Ross and Jay-Z. Fans and critics have been taking Jay’s lines as a direct diss to Kanye West for his beliefs.
“Hunnid percent of Tidal to bust it up with my Gs, uh/ Since most of my niggas won’t ever work together/ You run a check up but they never give you leverage/ No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye/ They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA, uh/ I ain’t one of these house niggas you bought/ My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours/ My spou- (C’mon, man)/ My route better, of course/ We started without food in our mouth,” Jay raps.
Well, the lines reached the Masses so quickly, Jay had to log into twitter to explain what he meant. And if you follow Jay, you know he and Beyoncé keep quiet, especially on Twitter.
“The line clearly meant don’t pit me against my brothers no matter what our differences are (red hat) now go pick up Meek album. Drake and Meek on there together.” Jay tweeted.
