J.Cole Releases Footage Of His House Being Raided By A Swat Team {Video Inside}

J. Cole’s “4 Your Eyez Only” documentary aired on HBO April 15th, 2017, and one of the best parts was a video clip that showed Cole’s song “Neighbors” was inspired by true events. They really thought he was selling dope and engaging in illegal activities

Okay, the neighbors think I’m sellin’ dope
Hm, I guess the neighbors think I’m sellin’ dope, sellin’ dope
The neighbors think I’m…neighbors think I’m—

(Don’t follow me, don’t follow me…)“.

“One of the neighbors told the police we were growing weed or selling drugs out of this house,” Elite told Complex about the raid on The Sheltuh, the studio in North Carolina where Cole recorded his latest project. “And there was a huge investigation, like a million-dollar investigation. They flew helicopters over, sent an entire SWAT team armed with weapons, broke down the door and searched the whole house.”

Well, Cole had video footage of the incident, and released it in his documentary. Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad, J. Cole’s manager and Dreamville Records president, confirmed the footage was real via Twitter.
