Interview With Poet Samira Monay

Samira Money is a rising senior at Albright College, who while majoring in psychology, is also current president of the Xion Step & Dance team at the college. Monay, who says poetry has always been a part of her life, has crafted her skills (and still working on them) to fully express her thoughts and emotions. Performing around campus, speaking different poems at many functions; Monay has been stepping out of her comfort zone, and credits Xion for that.

While poetry is hard to master, with not only writing, but evoking emotion; Monay is determined to use her voice for good. To not only inspire, but to uplift as well.
