Knight, a highly respected veteran in the music game does not need the attention of the game, which is why many feel partially slighted by her decision to perform. However, Knight released a video for her reasoning.

Knight says her audience is diverse due to change, and essentially wants this moment to help bring people to a better place. If only for a moment, like she has done in the past.
