Since the birth of his child Royalty, Chris Brown has been working hard to change himself for his daughter and the better. Brown has promised to quit smoking, work harder, he’s not seen out partying on a regular basis anymore, and he takes Royalty Brown with him everywhere she can go.
Recently, Brown has been in a custody battle with Nia Guzman, the mother of Royalty. Guzman has claimed that Brown is an unfit parent, and that she deserves full custody, and $16,000 a month in child support. Royalty is 2-years-old, and things between Guzman and Brown has gotten ugly. Guzman has even went as far as to say Brown gave Royalty asthma by smoking weed & cigarettes around her. Through everything, TMZ reported that this past weekend while in court, Brown came out as the clear winner.
The Judge granted Brown joint custody with no visiting monitoring. Brown gets Royalty 12 days out of the month. When Guzman filed asking for a change in custody between the two, the judge ordered Chris to pay her $20,000 so she could afford a lawyer. But because she was not able to prove any claims she made and lost, the judge told Guzman she wasn’t entitled to that $20,000 legal fee anymore and ordered her to hand it back over to Brown.
