Kevin Hunter Jr. reportedly got into an altercation with his father shopping after at 9:50pm yesterday, according to PEOPLE. Following reports that Big Kevin and Little Kevin had gotten into a physical altercation, the news of little Kevin getting arrested was released.

Kevin Jr. was charged for assault, processed, and released by West Orange Police Department the same evening and was not taken to county jail. However, TMZ is reporting that the altercation resulted after the pair got into the argument about the pending divorce. TMZ states that Kevin Sr. claimed that Williams was brainwashing their son, and that the argument involved Kevin Sr. seeking spousal support from Williams. This resulted in Kevin Sr. allegedly placing his son in a headlock, to which Kevin Jr. responded by punching his father in the face.

“I love my son very much and I will not be pursuing this matter legally,” Hunter said in a statement to TMZ. “Things are not always how they appear.”

Williams filed for divorce in April of this year, and while being remotely quiet, has thrown shade towards her estranged husband on multiple levels. Including firing him from all positions involved in the Wendy Williams Show.
