Watch the Trailer for ‘Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning’

In January of 2018, Surviving R. Kelly took on a life of its own. Exposing the allegations against the defamed singer, and shedding light on his past deeds. Now, Lifetime is continuing the series with Part II: The Reckoning.

Watching the trailer, you see Dame Dash speaking. Dash had a well known relationship with late singer Aaliyah, who Kelly had an inappropriate relationship with her during her early teen years. In the trailer, you see Dash say “whoever is acting like they didn’t know, is lying.” However, it is not clear what he was responding to. Kelly and Aaliyah even got married according to documents.

You’ll also see  Dominique Gardner, one of Kelly’s “ex-girlfriends.” If you watched Surviving R. Kelly in full, you saw Gardner escape with her mom after being with Kelly for years. According to Vulture, we’ll see Gardner “reuniting with her family for the first time in nine years and beginning a life outside of R. Kelly.’

Watch the trailer below. The three-night event premieres beginning January 2 at 9pm on Lifetime.
