Watch The Trailer For “Little,” Starring Marsai Martin, Issa Rae & Regina Hall

There is bound to be #BlackGirlMagic all throughout this film starring Marsai Martin, Issa Rae, and Regina Hall, and the trailer alone shows a good time for all involved.

Created by Martin herself, the film is produced by Will Packer and directed by Tina Gordon. Martin said she got the idea from watching the 1988 comedy Big, which is the opposite of Martin’s concept, different too.

While Hall is the big boss at her company, she is mean spirited to everyone she comes across, and comes face to face with a child that appears to cast a spell on Hall to make her “little.” Hall, now turned into Martin must continuer business, but with the help of her assistant April (Rae).

Martin recently told ESSENCE on what it was like working on set.

“I was very comfortable [on set] because they were my people,” the Black-ish actress said. “Working on a bunch of sets, you kind of don’t see that often. The more comfortable you are, the more confident you are — in how you say your lines or how you perform in a certain scene because you’re working with great people, who will watch over you and won’t let you down.”

Little will hit theaters on April 12th, 2019. Check out the trailer below.
