VH1 brought back the Diva concert series with a holiday twist, Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night will feature some legendary singers with powerful voices.
The first two performers announced for the concert were Patti Labelle and Mariah Carey. The event is still under wraps, but more performers are being announced every so couple of days. Chaka Khan and Vanessa Williams have also been announced as performers, Williams is said to open for the event. Teyana Taylor has also been added to the line up of performers, this is great for Taylor, especially after the success of “Fade.”
The concert will help benefit VH1’s Save The Music Charity for schools. “After a four year hiatus, “VH1 Divas” is making its triumphant return taping on December 2nd with VH1 Divas Holiday: Unsilent Night. Join us for a holiday-themed celebration of music and pop-culture’s greatest divas from Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, New York.”
The event will take place in New York on December 2nd, but will air on VH1 for December 9th.
