Tyra Banks Will Be Teaching At Stanford University In Spring of 2017

Most people know Tyra banks as being one of the most beautiful models in the world, she has truly earned her wings, but many forget her business side. 

Banks began modeling at 17 and used that to launch many different project s and build a substantial career. While modeling, Banks became one of the highest-paid models in the world. Banks has hosted her own talk show and co-hosted another she created, created and hosted “America’s Next Top Model” (the CW Network’s longest-running reality TV show), she has written a novel about models, appeared in movies, made a music single (which i honestly bop to), and launched a nonprofit to help coach young girls on self-esteem.

In 2011, the multi-talented businesswoman earned a Harvard Business School diploma in a nine-week-long Owner/President Management program. It’s clear Banks has a passion for, and is good at business. Look at her track record and longevity, so it makes sense in Stanford University being interested in Banks teaching a class.

Banks will team up with professor Allison Kluger for the spring elective titled “Project You: Building & Extending Your Personal Brand. According to Stanford, the class will the importance of hiring the right people, making cold calls, build your brand, knowing when to pivot, and more lessons as part of the university’s Women in Business series.
