For years, it was rumored that Alsina Alsina and Jada Pinkett Smith may have had a relationship, while she is still married/ in a “life partnership” with Will Smith. Well, Alsina has now addressed it.
In 2019, he released a song called “Nunya,” which only sparked more rumors and accusations following the video. The two met in 2015, and formed some sort of friendship over the years. Alsina even appeared on Red Table Talk to speak on his own problems, and past addictions.
Yesterday, an interview between Alsina and Angela Yee was posted that took a life on its own. During a portion, Yee talked to Alsina about love and his pst love life, leading to the rumors of he and Jada being in a relationship. Alsina opened up, but still kept some things private.
“I actually sat down with Will [Smith] and had a conversation due to the transformation from their marriage to life partnership … he gave me his blessing,” he says in the interview with Angela Yee.
“I totally gave myself to that relationship for years of my life, and I truly and really, really deeply love and have a ton of love for her. I devoted myself to it, I gave my full self to it — so much so to the point that I can die right now and be okay with knowing that I truly gave myself to somebody.”
During, Yee questioned if it was disappointing that Jada didn’t speak up, or claim the situation after Alsina says he lost friendships and money behind it.
“I really can’t even get into the thought of that because I am only responsible for myself, right,” Alsina stated. “And I am only responsible for, you know. what I do. When I am repressing and suppressing things and it starts to affect me. I have to address it. I just always stay solid because I never want to be the person to start confusion.”
According to PageSix, Jada’s team said Alsina’a claims are “absolutely not true!!” Watch the full interview below. Yee questions Alsina about Jada at the 16:29 mark.
